Mitch McConnell has called an eyes-only session of the Senate Republicans at the Sizzler on 14th in Washington, DC. All 53 current senators were in attendance.
A source close to one of the caterers says their source told them that McConnell had openly asked for a vote of “no confidence” in the Trump administration, which would set aside his power for the remainder of his term.
No President has ever had his power taken by the Senate after losing an election, so yet another unprecedented thing has happened to President Trump.
Democrat Senator Corey Booker said the minority was “eager to see if they could help” commit treason and remove Trump’s power of the pen in an obvious attempt at a coup.
One of Mitch McConnel’s top aides, Joe Barron, agreed to tell us what he knows under condition of anonymity, so if anyone asks, you didn’t hear this from him:
“The guy was funny for a while and he managed to pull a bunch of rubes out of the woodwork. His willingness to play our game on the judicial front is all we cared about, and he lost. He’s not a good candidate for too many reasons, the country won’t want to do this again in four years, and frankly, we’re tired of his nonsense.
Officially, McConnell has denied that any of this happened and has assured Trump that he is “firmly on his side.”
Rudy Giuliani wasn’t available for comment.
