“The Beverly Hillbillies” is one of the most beloved tv shows of all time. It followed the lives and wacky adventures of the Clampett family, a family of good old fashioned rednecks who strike it rich with oil and then move to the bastion of liberalism, California.
It made sense, it was hilarious, and most importantly it made a lot of money for the network.
News broke today that CBS will be rebooting one of it’s most successful franchises, but with a new twist: instead of poor inbred Caucasians, the cast will be entirely made up of illegal immigrants.
You read that right. Instead of a family of down to earth racist Appalachians, the new family will focus on the Perez family of Tijuana, who strike it rich by taking money from George Soros to coordinate migrant caravans and then subsequently move themselves to beautiful San Diego.
CBS spokesperson and former Bud Light spokesdog Spuds MacKenzie has this to say in response to the public outcry:
“Listen, we have to swerve and go where the money is. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of hicks making themselves look foolish; if we wanted to see that, we would just move to Memphis. Instead, we’ll be playing into the liberal tears that cry for Latino representation. Also, we’re making the Jethro character gay. Deal with it.”
It remains to be seen how successful this reboot will be, but corporate sponsors from liberal led Wall Street have been metaphorically lining up around the block to support this.
For example, “Tijuana Chicanos” already has sponsorships with Home Depot, Bud Light, and Trump University (who assumes some of the cast are good people).
Rest assured that we’ll keep you update as this story evolves.
