The liberals are all screaming and crying over the death of an Iranian General. Their number one complaint is that Congress wasn’t properly notified before the strike, which turns out to not be true.
According to the official timeline of events, the House Speaker and Senate Minority Leader were briefed a full 72 hours before the strike was given the green light. White House Director of Information and Propaganda, Gaston DeTater, says those who needed to be told were told:
“The whole narrative is a lie. We certainly did tell them. We sent three separate messages. One by courier, one by email, and one by carrier pigeon, which is what the constitution requires. That was a full 3 days before we learned when and where the general would be and killed him. It was a split-second decision once the intel became available.”
Pelosi and Schumer have decided to keep up the charade and claim they were never told. A statement from the Speaker’s office said:
“We’re a little bit concerned with the timeline of how we were supposedly informed. The administration made a split-second decision on something they had no idea was going to happen, yet they informed us three days earlier? The pigeon must have gotten lost, the courier kidnapped, and we’re sorry, but we have Trump’s emails set to go to spam.”
That’s nice, Nancy. Denying the due process you were given is definitely the way to go. As for Trump, he couldn’t care less what she thinks as long as the mission was a perfect success. Now that he’s gotten rid of this one man, the world can finally start getting back to normal with no further escalation past the nearly 100K troops already in the region and the heightened alert from Homeland Security.
God bless you, President Trump, for making us all a little bit safer.
