On January 30, 2019, civil rights activist Joseph Barron passed away. He had struggled with ALS-“Lou Gehrig’s disease” – For some time and finally succumbed, consuming an end-of-life cocktail prescribed by doctors to end the suffering once and for all that the horrible disease had brought into his life.
He will be mourned by many, not the least of whom by Barack Obama, past president of the United States of America. Obama called him a “trusted friend and confidant whose impact on civil rights in America will never be forgotten.”
But there’s a catch. Barron was not a black man fighting for civil rights at all The reality is quite different.
It turns out, that Barron was a fraud. Though he did fight for civil rights for African- Americans and all other minorities in the United States, he did so under false pretences. Confused? It’s simple. Joseph Barron was not a black man at all. In fact, he was a white man in the supposedly taboo ‘blackface.’
Largely unknown until recently, Joe Bern has been revealed as having been in blackface throughout his time in the civil rights era. He marched beside Dr. King with make-up on, fooling all in his midst, and yet, Obama adored him.
This is a man who spent years masquerading as a black man in order to further the civil rights movement but never was a black man himself. Black face is supposed to be a racist statement. So how was it that Barack Obama feels it is excusable in this case? Let’s hear from him:
“I don’t give a sh*t. He did it for the right reasons. We are better in America as a result of his actions.”
There you have it. Liberal hypocrisy in action. If we do it, we are racist. But Mr. Barron could do it openly and with impunity.
