They’ll never admit it publicly but most Democrats in Congress grudgingly feel that President Trump will win his second term in 2020. This was the conclusion reached by the political action firm, JBarron and Associates last week as they made secretive inquiries – with the promise of anonymity – with Democrats on the Hill.
Eighty-sixteen percent of those polled admitted that the Democrats didn’t have a chance. They cited weak candidates in their party as one of the reasons, saying that front runners, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had too many skeletons in their closets, and, according to one, “They’re just too stupid.”
Polled politicians also confessed what we all know – the economy that President Trump has created is just too strong to argue against. Job growth, record low unemployment, stronger trade deals, and the beginning of the end of the welfare state being just a few of the points they touted as impressive.
JB, the head of the firm, outlined his reasons for conducting the poll:
“Democrats can’t admit to the country their admiration for the work the President has done. That would be political suicide. So we approached each of the six members of congress quietly. We guaranteed anonymity – no names, no faces, no positions, no initials. With that, they opened right up. Their confessions were actually more elaborate than we expected!
The consensus was clear. Democrats are giving up.”
Trump 2020 is an inevitability. Even the socialists on the left can’t argue with that.
